Welcome, readers of my random journalings. (The word “readers” is, of
\ncourse, a prognostication, seeing as I have no subscribers at the time
\nof this post.) In this space I intend to post tales of my life, such as
\nI write for the benefit of my own memory as well as the amusement of
\nothers. It was DJ who asked me if I had a blog (which I did not at the
\ntime), thus causing me to consider it as a more sensible means of
\ndistributing these stories than by e-mailing them in an ad-hoc fashion
\nto various interested parties. Thus, I shall begin by posting the most
\nrecent three of those stories in the near future. <\/p>\n
